Introduction
Dropmap is a powerful tool designed to assist Fortnite players in optimizing their drops and gaining a competitive advantage. By utilizing bus routes and providing key points of reference, Dropmap offers valuable insights to help you make informed decisions during your descent. Understanding how Dropmap works will enable you to maximize your landing efficiency and secure valuable resources faster than your opponents.
Packages
At Dropmap, we offer 2 different packages. The Calculator and the Manual Map. Both are for a single location on the map, which you purchase individually. This article covers the Calculator package.
How to Calculate Drop Points
-
Gathering Bus Route Information: While on the spawn island, open the in game map and take note of the bus route displayed on the map. These routes indicate the path the battle bus will take across the map.
-
Calculating the Drop: Input the bus route information into Dropmap and we will then generate three different colored points on your screen.
-
Red Point: The red point indicates the best optimal time to jump out of the bus. It is recommended to wait until the middle of the bus aligns with the red point before initiating your jump. This ensures that you minimize the distance you can cover during your descent.
-
Green Point: The green point signifies the ideal time for the game to trigger your glider at the lowest height. However, please note that the green point does not indicate the exact crosshair placement during your drop; that's something you'll need to figure out on your own.
-
Blue Point: The blue point represents the pre-selected drop location, so you don't need to worry about that point—it's where you'll be landing.
Using the Drop Points
Once you have the information provided by Dropmap, it's time to put it into action. Wait for the middle of the bus to align with the red point before jumping out. You should aim for your glider to automatically deploy at the green point.
